This week Monaco prevailed over Dinamo Sassari on the road. Once again Zvezdan Mitrovic’s team has shown how good their defense is as they allowed Dinamo to score just 63 points at home. The final result was 81-63 for the visiting side.

After the tied first quarter (20-20) Monaco was in the charge for the rest of the game. With 8 points and 9 rebounds in the first half, Elmedin Kikanovic led the visitors to a 41-34 lead in that period of the game. The visitors didn’t slow down in the second half as they recorded another comfortable win.

The Key: Defense, defense, defense. After allowing Sassari to score 20 points in the first quarter Monaco locked their paint and limited the hosts to 43 points in the rest of the game.
The Star: Elmedin Kikanovic was unstoppable from the start to the end as he recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Scott Bamforth had a huge game for Sassari with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists but his teammates were not following him in the right way.
