In a quite spectacular game, EWE Baskets Oldenburg defeated UCAM Murcia 100 – 80. The Germans improved to 3-1 while the Spaniards fell to a 2-2 record with two consecutive losses.

Week 3 MVP Bryon Allen scored a game-high 26 for the home team.

After a strong offensive start by the hosts, Murcia tried to slow down the game unsuccessfully. At the half, Oldenburg was winning 46 – 36.

The hosts increased the advantage in the third quarter and outscored the Spaniards also in the last one.

The key:  Oldenburg found some strong offensive rhythm via a barrage of three-pointers (20/38). Impossible to lose with such numbers.

The star: UCAM Murcia just couldn’t stop Bryon Allen. 26 points and 5 assists for the point guard to lead his team to the victory. Maxime De Zeeuw also contributed with 17 (five three-pointers).

Ovie Soko paced the guests with 13 points and 5 rebounds.
