Umana Reyer Venezia defeated SIG Strasbourg in a tough game at home with 78 – 67. The Italians remain undefeated at home and improved to 3-1 while the French team dropped to a 2-2 record.

After a close first half, the hosts went to the locker rooms with their biggest lead of the game (37 – 30).

The Italian champions kept things under control in the second quarter and they managed to keep their distance until the end, despite the effort of the French. Mike Dixon’s early injury made the comeback for Strasbourg really difficult.

The key: Venezia’s defensive performance. The hosts kept the French in check and under 70 points.

The star: Hrvoje Perić shined for Venezia with 18 points and MarQuez Haynes also contributed with 16.

David Logan dropped 15 points for the visitors, shooting 6/15 from the floor.
