In a very close game, Oostende prevailed over Zielona Gora at home 82-78. It was anything but easy for the hosts to win this game as the visitors put up a great fight.

The Key: The hosts had more focus and energy down the last stretch and that helped them to win this difficult game. Their captain Dusan Djordjevic was cold as ice when the game was on the line scoring four straight points.

Oostende had a solid 40-34 lead after the first half. Zielona Gora didn’t get scared by that as they bounced back in the second half. They had a 74-72 lead with 2 minutes and 26 seconds left on the clock. Sadly for them, that was the closest they come to a victory. They couldn’t hold onto that lead so Oostende recorded their second victory this season.

The Star: Chase Fieler led Oostende with 20 points and 4 rebounds.

Vladimir Dragicevic was the best scorer for the visitors with 19 points.

After this game, both teams stand on a 2-3 record.
