No one found the way to beat AS Monaco yet as they remain unbeaten in the Basketball Champions League after Day 5.

After the five weeks of action AS Monaco is still without a loss after beating EWE Baskets Oldenburg at home 88-73. Once again their defense set the tone early in the game preventing the opponents to get into their rhythm.

The French were in control from the first second until the last one leaving to the visitors no room for surprise. After the first half, Monaco was leading 44-29 and Oldenburg had no energy to fight back in the second one.

The Key: It was a one-way street from the beginning as the host made their statement in the first quarter (22-11).

The Star: Amara Sy played only 22 minutes and in that time he had 19 points and 7 rebounds. Gerald Robinson helped him 17 and Paul Lacombe went all-round with 11 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks.

Not enough: Rasid Mahalbacis tried to prevent his team from losing with a double-double as he had 18 points and 10 rebounds.

AS Monaco is standing on the top of the group A with a perfect record 5-0. On the other side, the Germans suffered their second loss as they fell to a 3-2 record.
