With five weeks of action behind us AS Monaco is still perfect while Capo d’Orlando remains the only team without a victory.

As usual, there are eight games on Tuesday’s schedule and eight on Wednesday, just before the two weeks break due to the FIBA World Cup Qualifications.

Group A

It all starts with UCAM Murcia hosting AS Monaco. The Spaniards are the next team in the standings and will try to prevail over Monaco. They will have to be patient on offense as they are facing the best defensive team in the competition. The game will be played on Tuesday at 20:30 CET.

The other three games are scheduled on Wednesday. In Turkey, Pinar Karsiyaka will host Enisey Krasnoyarsk. The Turks are standing high with a 4-1 record so far in the BCL. The visiting side will have to be very careful in order to conquer Karsiyaka.

In Italy, Dinamo Sassari will have to slow down Glen Rice Jr. if they want to win Hapoel Holon. The American scored 28 points last week bringing Hapoel the first win this season.

The last match in this group will be between EWE Baskets Oldenburg and Juventus in Germany.

Group B

The games in this group are equally divided between the two days of action. The tip-off will be held at Latvia as Ventspils will be hosting Capo d’Orlando. The Italians will have to step up their game if they want their first victory this season. The host is pretty confident as they have a 3-2 record so far.

The second match on Tuesday will be placed in Germany as MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg will meet Gaziantep.

On Wednesday Greek side PAOK will travel to Lithuania to meet Neptunas in Klaipeda. The hosts are off to a strong start this season as they lost only one match out of five.

Day 6 in this group will be concluded after the game in France where Elan Chalon will host the reign champion Iberostar Tenerife.

Group C

With two games scheduled, Tuesday’s program will start in Turkey where Banvit will try to bounce back after the loss in Poland against Rosa Radom. Their opponent will be  Movistar Estudiantes. After that Umana Reyer Venezia will be hosting medi Bayreuth.

On Wednesday Rosa Radom will meet SIG Strasbourg at home as they will try to make two in the row after beating Banvit last week. The last match will be placed in Greece, where AEK will have guests from Slovenia Petrol Olimpija.

Group D

It will be a busy night on Tuesday as there are three matches scheduled in group D.

The first ones are starting at 18:30 CET. In the Czech Republic, CEZ Nymburk will be hosting Oostende. Both teams are standing on a 2-3 record as they will give their best to improve to a positive score. The other game that starts at 18:30 CET is between Aris and  Sidigas Avellino in Greece. The last game on Tuesday is reserved for Nanterre 92 and Stelmet Zielona Gora.

The game in Germany on Wednesday between Telekom Baskets Bonn and  Besiktas Sompo Japan will be the last one in this group. The hosts are on the bottom of the standings, while Besiktas is the top team of the group and can be considered the favorite.
