Nanterre prevailed over Zielona Gora

Nanterre had an easy evening against Zielona Gora at home on Day 6 of the Basketball Champions League.

Nanterre recorded their fifth win this season as they had no problem beating Zielona Gora at home 95-82. The home squad was in charge for the whole game leaving no chances for the visitors at all. Nanterre built a comfortable lead after the first period (28-15) and they never looked back.

In the second half, Zielona Gora played better as they were able to come closer especially in the last quarter. They cut the lead to a just 5 points (85-80) in the last minute. However, that was all they could do as the French team celebrated at the end.

The Key: The first half made a difference for Nanterre. They were the far better team in that period as they had 15 points lead 48-33.

The Star: Jamal Shuler was everywhere tonight for the hosts as he had 22 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds. His teammate Hugo Invernizzi helped him with 19 points.

Zielona Gora’s big man Vladimir Dragicevic once again was the most efficient player on the team with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Nanterre is standing high with a 5-1 record as Zielona Gora slipped down to a 2-4.
