The German side was able to beat Juventus on Day 6 of the Basketball Champions League after trailing in the first half.

EWE Baskets Oldenburg booked their fourth victory this season as they prevailed over Juventus at home (102-95). It was not easy for the hosts as they needed to erase a 12 points deficit in order to win. Juventus had a “hot” start in the first half, hitting 7 three-point shots out of 12 attempts and leading 51-46 after 20 minutes of action.

The turning point: 
The home squad entered in the second half ready to take back control of the game. It was a scoring festival for Oldenburg in the third quarter as they won that period 34-16.

The Star: Rickey Paulding was the man for Oldenburg being sensational.  The 35-year-old veteran scored 34 points as he missed just 3 shots from the field (13/16) which was enough for 40 in PIR. His teammate Bryon Allen tried to keep up with him as he had 28 points.

Not enough: Jonte Flowers gave his best to push Juventus to the victory. He had double-double game with 28 points, 10 rebounds and rating 37.

Oldenburg moved to a 4-2 record and Juventus fell to a 2-4.
