Elan Chalon grabbed their third victory in the FIBA Basketball Champions League as they beat Gaziantep on the road 73-65.

After a close first quarter, the home team had a minimal lead 20-19. It looked like things would completely change in the second quarter as Chalon made a 15-2 run in that period building a 34-22 lead. The home team bounced back quickly as they were trailing only 38-37 after the first half.

In the second half, both teams gave their best, as the score was 63-63 with two minutes remaining. Lance Harris came with a layup and Darrin Dorsey with a three-pointer pushed Chalon to a 68-63 as Gaziantep couldn’t return to the game.

The Key: The visiting team was dominating in the paint as they scored 42 points in the paint compared to Gaziantep’s only 22.

The Star: James Farr was fouled out, but he managed to score 17 points and grab 7 boards leading his team to victory along with Lance Harris who helped him with 16 points.

Not enough: Rolandas Freimans almost got a double-double for the host with 17 points and 9 rebounds.

Chalon now moved up to a 3-4 record and Gaziantep slipped to a 2-5.
