Petrol Olimpija beat Rosa Radom at home ending its two-game losing streak 80-72. Olimpija now moved up to a 2-5 record and Rosa Radom sank to a 1-6.

After a low scoring affair in the first quarter (10-10) home team overtook the control of the game. They won second quarter 24-15 and kept pushing until the end.

The Key: Strong defense in the first half by Olimpija gave the team a much-needed confidence to win the game. The home squad allowed visitors to score only 25 points in the first 20 minutes of action 34-25 as they hold onto that lead.

The Polish side tried to close the gap late in the fourth quarter as they cut the lead to 75-70 with 2 minutes left on the clock. That was all they could do as Domen Lorbek hit a three-point shot sealing the deal for Olimpija.

The Star: Jordan Morgan was unstoppable tonight as he recorded a strong double-double. He finished the game with 21 points and 14 rebounds which was enough for 31 in PIR. Lorbek helped him with 12 points as he hit four three-pointers.

Patrick Auda had a solid game for the losing side with 17 points and 6 boards.
