Dinamo Sassari beat Enisey in Krasnoyarsk 75 – 65 behind an outstanding 16-0 entrance in the match. The Russian team registered its third straight defeat and fell to a 2-5 record while the Italians finish the first leg with three wins.

The guests dominated the first quarter with their aforementioned run after the jump-ball. Enisey reacted in the second quarter and they cut the lead to just three points (36 – 33, 18′) but they were still trailing at the half (42 – 34) and they remained down for the remainder of the match.

Power forward Shawn Jones led the charge in the second half start for the guests and Dinamo kept a comfortable lead until the end of the game.

The key: Enisey’s slow start was the key. The hosts couldn’t overcome the initial deficit.

The star: Dyshawn Pierre led the scoring with 17 and also grabbed 9 boards, while Shawn Jones completed a double-double for the winners with 16 and 10.

Anthony Hilliard scored 13 points and Zabian Dodwell added 12 for the home team.
