It wasn’t easy at all but medi Bayreuth took the home win over Rosa Radom 90 – 85. The German team got its second consecutive victory and improved to a 5-3 record while Rosa Radom remains with just one win in Group C.

Gabe York committed a couple of early fouls but it wasn’t a problem for Bayreuth as they were leading by 7 at the end of the first quarter (23 – 16). The Polish reacted and they took the lead in the second (25 – 27, 14′). Rosa Radom kept that difference at the break (46 – 48).

The key: Bayreuth came strong off the locker room and won the third quarter 30 – 15. Rosa Radom tried to reduce the difference but it was too big to overcome.

The star: York led the winners in scoring and rebounds with 20 points and 6 boards.

Patrick Auda was great with 22 points and 7 rebounds but couldn’t avoid his team’s defeat. Kevin Punter added 21 points for the guests.
