Bonn got the home victory over Zielona Gora to achieve its third win in Basketball Champions League.

Telekom Baskets Bonn got the home win over Stelmet Zielona Gora  72 – 58. The Germans still have chances for the next round after improving to a 3-6 record in the standings.

Julian Gamble led Bonn to a 34 – 31 lead at the half. Vladimir Dragicevic turned the game into a battle in the paint in the third quarter. The Montenegrin finished with a double-double (18 points and 10 rebounds).

Still, the hosts had an 8-point advantage with 10 minutes remaining (56 – 48).

The key: Bonn continued increasing the lead in the last quarter. They slowed the tempo of the game and the Polish champions couldn’t get near them.

The star: Julian Gamble paced Bonn with 22 points and 7 boards. Josh Mayo contributed with 13 points.
