Umana Reyer Venezia suffered their third straight loss after being beaten by AEK 84-64 on the road. It was a one-sided affair as AEK built a rock-solid defense at the start of the game.

The Greek team stated their intentions early by allowing only 11 points in the first quarter (17-11).

The Key: The home squad built five points lead in the first half (42-37). However, in the second half, they completely torched Venezia in the third quarter 28-11 making this an easy game.

The Star: Mike Green had no mercy against his former team as he finished the game with a double-double. He scored 19 points and added 10 assists and Dimitrios Mavroeidis added 19 points and 9 boards.

Mitchell Watt did all he could for Venezia as he had 13 points and 14 rebounds, but that didn’t cut it.

With this win, AEK moved up to a 5-4 record the same record Venezia has after three consecutive losses.
