AEK got the road win after defeating the worst team in Basketball Champions League.

AEK remains in the race for a place in the Champions League playoffs after defeating Rosa Radom in Poland 69 – 63. The Greeks jumped to a 6-5 record in Group C while the hosts lost their 10th game in the competition.

As usual, Rosa Radom had a good start (11-4, 5′) but the visiting side took control of the game in the second quarter to lead at the break 36 – 33.

The key: AEK broke the game open starting the third period. Manny Harris commanded a 14-0 run that Rosa Radom couldn’t overcome.

The Polish side reduced the deficit to just two points (64-62, 38′) but finally, they couldn’t steal the game.

The star: Harris paced the winners with game-high 22 points. Chinemelu Elonu, who could leave AEK, completed a great first half and he ended with 9 points and 8 boards.

Kevin Punter led the Rosa Radom with 14 points.
