French Basketball Champions League club Elan Chalon announced the acquisition of American guard Nate Wolters.
Wolters, 26, was waived by the Utah Jazz in December after playing in five games. He had signed a two-way contract with the team prior to the beginning of the season.
In 2016-2017, Wolters played in Serbia for Crvena Zvezda, averaging 7.1 points plus 2.2 assists in 15 minutes per game in EuroLeague.
Chalon, the 2017 French League champion is currently struggling in Pro A, being in the last spot of the standings with a 4 – 12 record. Things are significantly better in the Basketball Champions League where the team is 5-6 in Group B.
