SIG Strasbourg recorded a very important victory on the road against AEK 88-87. It was a very close and intense game in which Strasbourg pulled a win.

Kelsey Barlow had a chance to win it for AEK, but he turned the ball on the last possession.

The visitors from France had a hard time to crack AEK’s defense in the first half. Things completely changed in the second part of the game. Their offense clicked in the third quarter as they nailed 29 points in ten minutes.

The Key: It was the second half performance by Strasbourg that made the difference tonight. They were the better team on both sides of the floor.

The stars: Dee Bost pulled a strong all-around performance that pushed Strasbourg over the AEK. He had 23 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals which were enough for 30 in PIR. David Logan also stepped up with 13 points and 5 rebounds.

Delroy James’ 21 points for AEK didn’t cut it tonight.

Strasbourg is now standing on a 7-5 record while AEK falls to a 6-6.
