Gaziantep won back-to-back games after losing eight straight games. They prevailed over Ventspils in a high-scoring game on the road 101-91 thanks to an amazing effort by Sean Armand.

The Star: The American guard nailed 22 points in the first half finishing the game with 27 points. He also added 7 assists and 5 rebounds which was enough for 32 in PIR.

The Key: The visiting squad felt the heat tonight as they scored 16 triples making 57,14% of their shots from behind the arc (16/28).

Gaziantep was in charge from the begging as they won the first quarter 28-21. The hosts pushed for a comeback in the second quarter with winning that period 21-19.

However, in the next 20 minutes, Gaziantep was the better team as they eventually won the game.

Not enough: Rihards Lomazs’ 27 points and Emmanuel Ubila’s double-double game with 10 points and 12 boards didn’t cut it for Latvians.

With this win, Gaziantep moved up to a 4-8 record while Ventspils fall to a 5-7. Both teams still have a chance to qualify for the next round.
