The Latvian side Ventspils improved to a 6-7 record in the Basketball Champions League as they beat Capo d’Orlando 79-68 on the road and kept their chances for the next round alive.

The Key: The visitors won the last quarter by 11 points (25-14) and sealed off the victory.

The Italians gave their best despite the fact they lost their chances for the Play-Offs last week. They were the equal opponent for three quarters, but they ultimately lost the game.

The Star: Emanuel Ubilla was calling the shots for the winning side. He had 20 points, 7 successful passes and 5 rebounds.

Not enough: The talented 20-years old Arnoldas Kulboka had a strong performance for the hosts. He nailed 19 points, but also added 7 rebounds, but couldn’t prevent the loss for the Italians.

With this loss, Capo d’Orlando extended their losing streak up to five games.
