MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg finished regular season of the Basketball Champions League in style. On the Day 14, they beat Capo d’Orlando at home 86-59.
It was an easy night for the Germans as they were in charge from the begging. With this win, Ludwigsburg improved their winning streak to 5 straight games.
The Stars: Elgin Cook and Thomas Walkup were the partners in crime tonight. Cook had a strong double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds while Walkup added 20 points.
The Key: In the second quarter the hosts stepped up their game as they won that period by 11 points (29-18).
Capo d’Orlando’s captain Mario Delas had 10 points and 7 boards, but that didn’t cut for them.
After that, it was a one-way street for Ludwigsburg as they improved to a 12-2 record in the BCL while Capo d’Orlando finished their season with a 2-12 record.
