Pinar Karsiyaka became the first team to beat AS Monaco in the Basketball Champions League this season.

AS Monaco failed to finish the regular season of the Basketball Champions League with a perfect record. On the last day, they lost against Pinar Karsiyaka on the road 84-77.

It looked like this will another easy game for a team coached by Zvezdan Mitrovic. They were up by 8 points (26-18) after the opening 10 minutes.

The Key: After trailing 37-34 in the first half the hosts caught the right rhythm in the second half. They won the third period 25-17 overtaking the lead and winning the game ultimately.

The Star: It was Jarrod Jones that couldn’t be stopped tonight. The big man finished the game with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

Gerald Robinson had an outstanding game for Monaco with 25 points and 6 assists, but it wasn’t enough.

With hits win Karsiyaka moved up to a 10-4 record securing the second position in the group A.
