CEZ Nymburk ended AEK’s winning streak with a huge win in Athens 98 – 88. The visiting had a shooting show and they are one step closer to the next playoff round.

Kendrick Ray had an impressive performance for the winners with 30 points, 6 rebounds and 6 dimes. Alex Davis also contributed to the victory with 20 points and 7 boards.

Manny Harris led the hosts with 25, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals while Kevin Punter scored 18.

After a slow start (2 – 10, 3′), Nymburk had a superb response and they overcame the result early in the game. The Czech champions were unstoppable attacking the rim and made 18-of-24 from two during the first half. AEK went 19 times to the stripe before the break but it wasn’t enough as they were trailing 46 – 30.

Manny Harris and Mike Green led the Greek reaction. AEK scored easily in the second half (58 points) and were able to make it a single-digit game (84 – 77, 37′). However, they must get a massive win on the road next week.
