Brose Bamberg‘s former head coach Luca Banchi is on AEK Athens radar for the head coaching position.
After winning the Basketball Champions League title, AEK is looking to get even stronger for next year and compete in the Greek League with Olympiacos Piraeus and Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens. Banchi’s addition would be the start of something new for the BCL title holders.
However, the decisions for the new head coach of the Greek team have not been made by AEK’s front office just yet. Banchi, was the head coach of Olimpia Milano, Siena, and Turin before moving to Germany to replace Andrea Trinchieri in Bamberg.
Finally, AEK is waiting to listen to Banchi’s demands, and if possible could make a move.
