The negotiations got a happy ending as AEK Athens officially signed Howard Sant-Roos, the club announced. The Cuban small forward left Darussafaka despite having an extension option to his last season contract.
The 27-year-old played with EuroCup champion Darussafaka last season averaging 8.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes of play.
Getting Howard Sant-Roos will be the marquee move of AEK during this summer as the Basketball Champions League champions are preparing for next season under new coach Luca Banchi.
