Jonathan Holmes who spend part of the 2016-17 season with Barcelona is the big-name target of Hapoel Tel Aviv, which will compete in the qualifying rounds of the Basketball Champions League.
The two sides are still negotiating and there’s already goodwill from both of them. Holmes has also been part of the USA national team which won the FIBA AmeriCup 2017 in Argentina last summer.
Holmes was also in talks with Karsiyaka, but they never got into a deal. The player seems to prefer to play in Israel.
