Thanks to a dominant fourth period, Dijon began its maiden Basketball Champions League regular season campaign in victorious fashion.

JDA Dijon defeated Nymburk 74 – 63 and grabbed its first win ever in the Basketball Champions League Group stage.

It was a matter of four outstanding minutes for the winning squad. With the score 54 – 59, Dijon had an outstanding 15 – 0 run to take the lead in a stretch where Nymburk looked unable to react. The French squad then proceeded to secure this advantage for the remainder of the game.

David Holston was particularly effective for Dijon down the stretch since he scored 10 out of his 16 points in the final five minutes of the match. He also had five assists plus three rebounds. Alexandre Chassang (14 points, eight rebounds) and Axel Julien (12 points, five assists and three boards) complete the winning equation for Dijon.

Vojtech Hruban (22 points, five rebounds) and Martin Peterka (15 points) stood out for Nymburk.
