James Feldeine and Tamir Blatt helped Hapoel Jerusalem break Lietkabelis’ resistance in the third quarter for their second victory in Basketball Champions League.

Hapoel Jerusalem broke the resistance of Lietkabelis in the third quarter and won 81-67 in Day 2 of Basketball Champions League. With this victory, Hapoel improved to a 2-0 record in Group C while the Lithuanian team still awaits their first win (0-2).

James Feldeine led the winning effort with 16 points while Tamir Blatt added 14 in addition to Da’Sean Butler’s 12 points. For Lietkabelis, Saulius Kulvietis scored 17 points.

The game started off with a strong defensive effort from both teams as they scored 27 points (Letkabelis, 15-12) in total for the first quarter. Neither team could make a significant advantage during the first half but Hapoel had a small lead at the break (36-34).

After the halftime rest, however, the hosts took over and created a 12-point advantage (58-46) in front of the final quarter. They kept the same rhythm in the final ten minutes, staying ahead and securing the game.
