UCAM Murcia got the impressive 72-51 road win over Nizhny Novgorod in Group A of the Basketball Champions League.
Led by Kevin Tumba’s 11-point, 10-rebound double-double and also with Milton Doyle scoring 18 points, Charlon Kloof adding 13 and Ovie Soko 14, Murcia got an early lead (19-10) and never looked back. To be exact, Nizhny Novgorod tied the score at halftime (27-27), but couldn’t keep up after that.
With Vladimir Dragicevic out with injury and Kendrick Perry getting hurt in the back, things were not easy for the Russian side. The hosts fall to a 1-2 record, while Murcia is the team to beat in their BCL group.
