Le Mans recorded their first victory in BCL this season by beating MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg 64-54 on Day 3 of Basketball Champions League. The French team, therefore, has a 1-2 record in Group A while the Germans still wait for their first win (0-3).

Cameron Clark scored 15 points for the hosts in addition to Michael Thompson’s ten. For Ludwigsburg, Owen Klassen scored 13 points.

After a balanced first period (19-21), Le Mans opened the second quarter with a 12-0 run going ahead 31-21 but Ludwigsburg instantly responded and even had a small lead at halftime (35-33). After the break, although the guests started with five straight points, Le Mans took over (41-40) and held on until the end securing the win.
