Jae’Sean Tate and Victor Sanders led Antwerp to their first win in BCL against Hapoel Jerusalem.

Despite trailing twice, Telenet Giants Antwerp managed to come back and prevail 101-89 against Hapoel Jerusalem on Day 3 of Basketball Champions League. Both teams now stand with a 2-1 record in Group C.

Jae’Sean Tate led the victors with 24 points while Victor Sanders was right behind 22 in addition to Dave Dudzinski’s 15 points. On the other side, Chris Johnson scored 20 while Da’Sean Butler and James Feldeine added 17 points each.

Jerusalem opened the game with a 7-0 run and although Antwerp closed the gap, the guests still held a small 51-49 lead at halftime. The Israeli team had an upper hand at the start of the second half also (64-56) but once again, the hosts came back (74-73) turning the tables and eventually winning the game.
