Virtus Bologna improved to 4-0 in Group D after beating Bayreuth 74-67 on Day 4 of Basketball Champions League. The German squad still waits for their first win (0-4) in BCL this season.

Kevin Punter and Tony Taylor lead the winning side with 13 points each while Dean Kravic put on a double-double of ten points and rebounds. For Bayreuth, Kassius Robertson scored 12 in addition to Andreas Seiferth’s 11 points.

It was a tie after ten minutes (19-19) and Bologna eventually went with a small 34-31 lead on the halftime rest. The lead kept switching sides multiple times after the break but with the score 59-59 midway through the last period, the hosts pulled off a 7-0 run and went on to secure the win.
