After a game full of ups and downs, CEZ Nymburk managed to prevail 82-74 against Telenet Giants Antwerp on Day 4 of Basketball Champions League.

Vojtech Hruban led Nymburk with game-high 19 points while Tomas Vyoral added 14. On the other side, Paris Lee scored 16 in addition to Tyler Kalinoski’s 11 points.

The game was balanced until the middle of the second quarter (30-30) but Nymburk made a 13-2 run creating some space (43-32). However,  Antwerp managed to soften the blow before halftime (43-37).

It was a similar story in the second half also as Nymburk went ahead 60-47 after a 10-0 run but once again, the guests answered right back even taking the lead (68-66) although they couldn’t go any further. The hosts managed to consolidate and decide the game with a 12-3 run in the final minutes.

This was the first win for Nymburk in BCL this season (1-3) while Antwerp stands at 2-2 in Group C.
