Nanterre 92 shot 16/33 from behind the arc on their way to a 96-87 home win against Fribourg Olympic on Day 5 of Basketball Champions League.

Haukur Palsson (5/6 triples) and Hugo Invernizzi (5/9 triples) were leading the charge with sizzling three-point accuracy as they scored 17 points each. Jeremy Senglin added 19 in addition to Julian Gamble’s 17 points. For Fribourg, Babacar Toure notched game-high 21 points.

Fribourg had a 26-22 lead after ten minutes and managed to keep an upper hand at halftime (49-46). However, the locker room talk seemed to help the hosts as they took over the lead (54-51) and increased it to as much as 13 points (87-74) during the final period which was plenty of space to secure the game.

Nanterre improved to 2-3 while Fribourg holds a 1-4 record in Group B.
