James Feldeine had a 39 efficiency rating in Hapoel Jerusalem win against CEZ Nymburk. His new personal high led him to the MVP honors of Day 5 of the BCL regular season. The 30-year-old sank 35 points, drilled nine three-pointers, grabbed five rebounds and dished four assists. He was terrific.

“I’ve had a few games like this” he said per Basketball Champions League’s announcement for his MVP title. “The first one (shot) went in and I felt good. So coach (Oded Kattache) gives me a lot of confidence. The whole team, the whole staff gives me a lot of confidence, lets me shoot those shots. Tonight (Wednesday), they went in” he added.

“I’ve been a little mad at myself for missing easy ones in previous games. I’ve been staying extra to get extra shots and it paid off (against Nymburk)” the Dominican guard said.

On his 9 threes: “It happens. Sometimes I start off slow and I get hot. Sometimes I start off hot and I start going cold. I just kept on going, shots kept on going in (against Nymburk). I got some easy ones to start the game off and that got me going for sure”.
