After a few ups and downs, Banvit managed to prevail against Anwil with a 75-68 home win on Day 6 of Basketball Champions League.

McKenzie Moore, Banvit’s new addition, led the winning side with game-high 19 points while Jordan Morgan helped with 13.

On the other side, Michal Michalak and Josip Sobin both scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds each. Jaroslaw Zyskowski added 15 points as well.

Banvit started with an early 19-11 lead mostly thanks to Morgan’s nine points but Anwil responded and eventually went on the halftime rest with a 34-31 advantage.

After the break, Banvit once again took over creating the first double-digit lead (58-48) but the guests completely bounced back in the fourth quarter making it a tie (66-66) with two minutes left. However, the hosts faired better in the crunch time coming out as the victors.

Banvit improved to 4-2 after this win while Anwil holds a 2-4 record in Group A.
