Julian Gamble‘s 16 first-quarter-points propelled Nanterre to 31-16 lead during the first period, but Venezia recovered and built a 10-point lead in the second half of the Group B Day 6 game of the Basketball Champions League. However, a huge fourth quarter highlighted by a 15-0 run led the visitors to a 99-87 away win.

29-year-old Gamble ended up with 28 points and 10 rebounds. He was surpassed by Adas Juskevicius, who ended the game with 31 points and nine boards! It’s worth noting that Nanterre played from the beginning of the second period without Dominic Waters, who was expelled after a pair of technical fouls.

Walter De Raffaele couldn’t use Austin Daye after the start of the third period and the American’s forward 5th foul. His teammate, Gasper Vidmar, dropped 17 points, MarQuez Haynes and Stefano Tonut had 12 each.

With its win in “Palasport Taliercio”, Pascal Donnadieu’s team, got to 3-3. The Italians fell to 4-2.
