PAOK achieved an important 66-65 victory over Tenerife in the Basketball Champions League Group B Round 7 match played at Santiago Martin Arena. The visitors didn’t have an easy task in Spain, but were in control for most of the 40 minutes.

Linos Chrysikopoulos was definitely the man of the match at San Cristobal de La Laguna. Sinking the winning shot 24 seconds before the end of the last period, the 25-year-old forward reached the 24-point mark and finished his big game with a 25 efficiency rating. Sebastian Saiz notched 15 points for Txus Vidorreta’s team.

Ilias Papatheodorou’s team finished the first round of BCL’s group stage at 4-3 and four consecutive wins. The Spaniards fell to 6-1.
