Charles Jackson was Bonn’s top scorer in last Tuesday’s victory over Opava in the two clubs Basketball Champions League Group B Day 7 match. However, the 25-year-old American limped off with an ankle injury, per the German’s club announcement.
The medical tests that followed revealed the severity of his injury. It was estimated that he will remain on the sidelines for at least a month. He will be further evaluated and a more specific timetable will be determined.
Jackson’s injury is a serious blow for Bonn. In his seven first BCL appearances, he averaged 14.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists helping Predrag Krunic’s team notch three victories.
