There was no stopping Holon at the Site Sportif Saint-Leonard. Dan Shamir’s club achieved a 95-90 away win against Fribourg in the Basketball Champions League Group B Round 8 match. It was a high-scoring affair that could easily favor the home team, but the visitors never really lost control despite playing on the edge down the stretch.

In-form Khalif Wyatt was held to ten points, but Corey Walden was more than enough on Wednesday sinking five threes and finishing the match with 24 points. Guy Pnini followed with 17, TJ Cline added 15.

Dusan Mladjan scored 25 for the home team. Andre Williamson had 20 and Babacar Toure 18.

The Israelis third consecutive BCL victory gave them a total record of 6-2. The Swiss Champs dropped to 1-7 with their sixth straight defeat.
