Except for the first quarter, Le Mans was the one holding the lead on their way to a home win against Banvit in Basketball Champions League.

Except for the two early leads of Banvit, Le Mans was ahead all the time and recorded an 85-71 home win on Day 9 of Basketball Champions League. The French side improved to 3-6 while Banvit stands at a 5-4 record in Group A.

Michael Thompson scored 22 points for the winning side while Richard Hendrix, Jonathan Tabu, and Petr Cornelie added 15 points each.

For Banvit, D.J. Shelton scored 16 in addition to Alex Perez and Gary Neal’s 13 points each.

Le Mans was ahead 24-21 after ten minutes and went on the halftime rest with a 44-42 lead. They were even more in control after the break as they grabbed a double-digit lead (61-51) and kept playing around that margin until the end.
