Numerous lead changes and ties in the Basketball Champions League Group C Round 10 match resulted to a 77-73 win for Bamberg over AEK. The Queen’s eight-game winning streak ended in Germany on Tuesday.

No team was able to create an advantage over five points until the Germans built an eight-point lead in the last quarter. The visitors did respond and retake the lead, but Tyrese Rice clutch free throws proved enough for the “W”. The 31-year-old American finished up with 13 points.

Augustine Rubit followed with 11 points. Cliff Alexander scored nine.

Dusan Sakota notched 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists, but wasn’t enough for AEK. Vince Hunter had 14 points, Jonas Maciulis 12 and Malcolm Griffin 11.

Ainars Bagatskis’ team got its fourth straight BCL win and progressed to a 7-3 record. The Greeks dropped to 8-2, but secured the tiebreaker and could still qualify to the Playoffs tonight if JDA Dijon beats Montakit Fuenlabrada in Spain.
