Babacar Toure led Fribourg to the 70-63 away win over Bonn in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Round 11 matchup played at the Telekom Dome. The 33-year-old forward finished up with 21 points and 12 rebounds, his seventh 2018-19 BCL double-double.

The visitors sent their upset alert going up 14-6 in the first quarter and went on with a 16-0 run that gave them a 14-point advantage in the second period. Joshua Mayo (18pts) helped Bonn turn the game around in the third period but the Germans failed to find any kind of offensive solutions in the fourth.

Petar Aleksic’s club improved to 3-8 retaining its chances for a FIBA Europe Cup positioning in BCL’s Group B. Predrag Krunic’s team dropped to 4-7 and lost the tiebreaking advantage over the Swiss Champions.
