Michael Bramos dropped six of his 14 points with two shots beyond the arc down the stretch and Venezia held on after his second one to grab a 80-78 away victory over Tenerife.

MarQuez Haynes was also clutch and posted a team-high 18 points in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Group B Round 11 match. Austin Daye added 14 points, Julyan Stone had 12 and Gasper Vidmar ten.

No team was able to build a lead over seven points, but Walter De Raffaele’s club eventually snapped the Spaniards three-game winning streak. The Italians didn’t secure the tiebreaking advantage over Txus Vidorretta’s team, but almost secured a BCL playoffs spot rising up to 7-4.

The hosts fell to 9-2 despite Tim Abromaitis 16 points. Colton Iverson and Sebastian Saiz notched ten points each.
