Thanks to a big three by Damjan Rudez and two crucial free throws by Sadiel Rojas, Murcia got the 63-57 road win at Avellino, keeping the Italians for one more week away from the playoffs.
On the contrary, the winners are the only team with a 10-1 in the Basketball Champions League. Rudez finished the game with 10 points, Rojas added 12 and Milton Doyle had 15.
The hosts have a 7-4 record and remain in the second place of Group A standings but despite 15 points by Keifer Sykes and 10 by Patrick Young who also grabbed 10 rebounds, couldn’t get the job done in the end.
