Sidigas Avellino signed Ojars Silins for the remainder of the season, the club announced.
Avellino has been forced to search for new roster additions due to rotation problems. They played with seven players in yesterday’s (22/1) Basketball Champions League clash against Banvit as Caleb Green and Demetris Nichols were out due to injury while three young players (born in 2000, 2001) weren’t ready for the challenge.
The 25-year-old forward started the season with Alma Trieste averaging 7.6 points and 2.3 rebounds in eight Italian League games.
