Nanterre 92 grabbed an away win over Fribourg Olympic and eliminated their opponents from the Basketball Champions League playoffs.

Fribourg started strong at the Site Sportif Saint-Leonard, but Nanterre took over with a 13-2 first quarter run and went on for the 92-81 away victory. The visitors continued their playoff push with their Basketball Champions League Gameday 12 win.

Hugo Invernizzi scored a game-high 19 points. Dominic Waters helped out with 18 points and eight assists en route for a efficiency performance of 22.

The hosts never gave up, but ultimately Justin Roberson’s 18 points weren’t enough. Dusan Mladjan put up 17 points.

Third straight Group B win for Pascual Donnadieu’s club. The French upped their record to 7-5. Petar Aleksic’s team that fell to 3-9 was taken out of the playoffs conversation on Wednesday.
