Vladimir Dragicevic fueled Nizhny Novgorod that blew the game up in the second half en route for the 85-59 victory over Ludwisburg at the MHP Arena. The win itself didn’t get the Russians in the Basketball Champions League playoffs, but Sidigas Avellino overtime loss to Ventspils did.

Zoran Lukic’s team finished Group A with a 7-7 W-L record. The three-way tie with Avellino and Le Mans sent the Russians through third-seeded and the French club to fourth place.

Dragisevic, 32, made 10/16 inside the rainbow for a season-high 24 points. Ian Hummer added 22 points and nine rebounds in the Regular Season Gameday 14 match.

John Patrick’s side fell to 3-11 on Tuesday despite Marcos Knight’s team-high 20 points. Kelan Martin followed with 17 points.
