A problem arose for PAOK as William Hatcher and Phil Goss refuse to return from their leave in the US until the delayed payments are made.

After PAOK’s loss in the Greek Cup Final against Panathinaikos (17/2), their two American players in Phil Goss and William Hatcher got one week of rest as no games have been scheduled due to World Cup Qualifiers and were allowed to travel to the US.

The players were initially supposed to be present for the practice tomorrow (26/2), however, neither Goss nor Hatcher have returned to Greece yet and don’t intend to unless the pending issues and delays in their contracts are settled first, according to Eurohoops’ info. Both players informed the club with official documents.

PAOK has had a very good season so far. Apart from being in the Greek Cup Final for the first time after 20 years, they are currently fifth at the Greek League standings with a 10-6 record, bound for the playoffs.

They’ve also qualified for the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 and are scheduled for the clash with AEK on Tuesday (5/3). Before that, they will play vs. Holagros in the domestic league on Saturday (2/3).
