ANTWERP–Iberostar Tenerife fell to Virtus Bologna in the Basketball Champions League final. The Spanish team didn’t manage to repeat the 2017 success and returns to Spain with the silver medal.
Following the game, Tenerife GM Aniano Cabrera Rodriguez made the following statements to Eurohoops on the game’s officiating, particularly in the fourth period.
“With ten points down, sometimes had to fight against the score and sometimes against the referees’ decisions. It wasn’t easy and we missed easy shots. But we had to play with the score down because we were losing. And some things from the referees.”
