Roel Moors parted ways with Telenet Giants Antwerp and Christophe Beghin has been chosen as the one to replace him as the head coach of the Belgian team, Pat Ceulemans announced.

Moors led Antwerp to the Basketball Champions League Final Four – which they eventually hosted – as they became the first Belgian team and the youngest squad ever to do so. They also reached the Belgian League Finals where they lost to Filou Oostende 3-1.

The historic success that the squad made under his lead got the players as well as the coach on the radar of many teams. Brose Bamberg is one of them and they have made Moors their target, according to l’avenir.
